Library Boy

This summer Seth got his very own library card and he was so excited and super proud. We participated in the summer reading program and he won lots of neat prizes. We have been making weekly trips to the library and he has read so many books.

Seth had lots of fun doing embroidery, making butter and sachets, walking on logs, scrubbing cloths on a wash board, shopping at the mercantile, playing games and swimming at the lake at Olivia's Little House on the Prairie Birthday Party.

Welcome to the World

Our family has been blessed yet again with a new baby to love. On July 6th, Stacy and Bobby welcomed Pressley Elizabeth. We were all so excited to meet her. Trey has been staying with us, while his parents are at the hospital and everything is going swimmingly.

Cultural Exchange: USA/Arizona

With the 4th of July coming up, I thought it would be a good time to do our USA - Arizona cultural exchange package. It was full of neat information, crafts, and goodies. Seth really liked making the cactus magnet craft and drinking out of a fun straw. We learned that life for the family was in some ways the same and in some ways different, even though we live in the same country. We also enjoyed checking out some patriotic library books and making Arizona cheese crisps.

Visiting

Seth had so much fun with Ella and Olivia, pretending to be teenagers, making beach volcanos, and playing in the lake.
