Monday is Fun Day
Seth and I had a fun afternoon, today. I picked him up from school and then we went to lunch at Texas Roadhouse. After lunch, we exchanged a few Christmas gifts that didn't work and then went to Build a Bear Workshop. Seth chose a brown bear that he named "Ken" and a Batman outfit. We also rode the merry-go-round at the mall.

True Love
Recently at a family reunion, Mark was holding his aunt's puppy and I made him pose with him - over and over. I think they are in love!

Baking Day
The other day we went to baking day with our playgroup. Seth learned how to make banana nut muffins. This is going to be a monthly play date and I'm excited to see what else he learns.

Grandparents Day
Today, Mom came down for Grandparents Day at Seth's school. Mimi and Papa R. met her there and they were given flowers and a snowman magnet. The kids sang a song and everyone decorated cookies. I would have pictures, but I wasn't invited! ;)

Charlotte Weekend
We had a nice quiet weekend in Charlotte. We pretty much just hung out at the house. Erika brought the new ipad and everyone was hooked. The Steelers won the AFC championship and are going to the Superbowl! Woo Hoo!!

Fun With Home Improvement
Mark and I (more Mark, less I) worked on Mom's bathroom over the weekend. We had previously taken down the wall paper. We painted with a textured paint that was made to hide wall imperfections - not fun! It is a work in progress!

To Do List
We have been stuck inside a fair amount with all of this winter weather. I decided that since we always have to do lists filled with work, it would be fun to come up with a to do list with some play on it as well. I let Seth make the list and we did one chore for every two fun things. Seth loved making the list and checking the items off one by one.
