Letters

Dear Easter Bunny,
Thank you for the basket. I hope you get me a net for my dad to catch fish. I left you a carrot. I hope you see me at Grandma's house. The Easter Bunny I love.
Your Friend,
Seth
P.S. Please don't let the chickens get names because we want the eggs to be regular.

Dear Seth,
Thanks for the delicious carrot. It hit the spot. How did you know carrots were my favorite?I have hidden your Easter basket and some eggs that you colored. They were beautiful. That's so funny how the chickens knew your names. I will see you next year.
Love,
The Easter Bunny

Egg Dying

When we got to Mom & Dad's the other day, we all gathered around to watch Seth dye Easter eggs, I had secretly written his name on one in yellow crayon. When he saw it come out he was very excited! He could not get over how the chicken knew his name! It was such a big hit that I smuggled a few more around the corner and wrote Molly, Leon (the dog), Grandma & Papa and "Everyone Else" on them. Each time he was just amazed. It was very cute!

Egg Hunt

We had a fantastic time at the egg hunt at Granby Gardens park. My friend Melissa, who is director of children's programs for a local church, put this event on in conjunction with several other churches. They had games, bounce houses, puppet shows and a 10,000 Easter egg hunt. We hung out with Laurie and Aiden from our playgroup and the met up with Stacey and Trey. Seth won lots of prizes and gathered a bunch of eggs.

Puppets, Potluck and Play

The other day we hosted an event for our playgroup. We only had one little girl and seven boys. Seth had a great time and didn't want the children to go.

Splish, Splash!

The other day when Trey was over, I took the boys outside and filled a little bin with some toys. They splashed and played for a long time. We played outside 3 times that day! It's amazing how something so simple can keep kids entertained for so long.

Scammed!

So, that awesome swing set we ordered....total scam! Basically, the "company" who's website was professional and looked totally legit, has operated under a dozen or so names. When we searched the company weeks ago there was nothing out there. Within the last week or so all of these fraud reports are popping up. What really gets me is that we thought our payment was secure. We paid via Green Dot MoneyPak, which is a Paypal company, and the cards claim it's a secure way to pay. It's not! Now they say the money is untraceable. I don't have the energy to go through all of the details, but these articles tell just about exactly what happened to us.
