This idea was inspired by something similar that I saw in a
Publix magazine. I cut out a (very rudimentary) outline of a turkey.

Seth painted him brown.

We added facial features and hung him on the wall.

I cut out a bunch of feathers and put them on the counter in a basket with a marker.

Each night, right before supper we each add another feather with something we are thankful for.

I think this a fun way to remind us all to give thanks for all that we have. By Thanksgiving, our turkey will be decked out with plumage! I will post another picture of the final product later on!
